Beyond Dentures, It's Your True Smile
Dentures (also known as false teeth) are custom-made dental appliances used as a comprehensive replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. These artificial restorations enable the normal, healthy functioning of the human mouth, supporting clear speech and comfortable digestion. At Deekshu Dental Implant Center, our custom-made dentures are precisely tailored to align with the unique architecture of your remaining teeth and natural gum line.
Dentures are categorized into two primary types: Complete and Partial restorations. Complete dentures are recommended when all natural teeth across an arch are missing, fitting comfortably over the upper gums and roof of the mouth, or positioned like a stable horseshoe on the lower jaw. Partial dentures are seamlessly applied when only some teeth are missing, filling the empty gaps beautifully.

Full Arch Rehabilitation
Complete Dentures
Complete dentures provide a total restoration solution for patients who have lost all natural teeth in their upper or lower arches. These fully customized appliances rest comfortably over the gum tissue, meticulously designed to achieve superior marginal integrity, a reliable seal, and excellent long-term oral health.
By utilizing modern, high-grade base materials, these dentures perfectly mimic the natural appearance of gum tissue and healthy tooth enamel. This premium craftsmanship eliminates any artificial appearance, ensuring a full-arch restoration that is both functionally stable and aesthetically flawless.
Seamless Gap Restoration
Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are the ideal modern option for filling intermittent gaps when some natural teeth still remain. Fabricated from advanced, high-tech lightweight frameworks, they combine durable structural support with superior natural aesthetics, meeting the highest functional needs of the patient.
The exceptional strength of the underlying framework allows the partial denture to withstand heavy daily biting forces without placing undue stress on neighboring natural teeth. This advanced approach provides a perfect fusion of lifelong oral function and aesthetic perfection.
Unmatched Stability & Security
Implant-Supported Dentures
Implant-Supported dentures offer a time-tested, premium compromise, blending the rock-solid foundation of a titanium medical implant base with an attractive, lifelike cosmetic exterior. Anchoring directly into the jawbone provides exceptional structural rigidity and resistance to displacement, entirely eliminating slipping.
This advanced engineering ensures a reliable fit during maximal biting forces, stimulating the bone to prevent natural gum recession over time. Ultimately, implant-anchored options remain a highly resilient and cost-effective choice for achieving a completely functional, worry-free smile.
The Procedure Involved in Placing Dentures
Step-by-Step Treatment Journey to Your Custom Restoration
The first step in getting a denture would be the initial consultation with the dentist. The dentist will perform an oral examination to find out what kind of denture would be required according to your needs. The dentist will help you decide the type of denture that would be required — Complete or Partial Denture. Extraction or any other procedure before getting dentures, if needed, will also be determined during the initial consultation.
The dentist will take the impression of the jaw where teeth are missing. A plaster model will be made by pouring the impression with gypsum. A special acrylic tray will be made for your jaw model. To ensure proper fit, this special tray will be placed in your mouth, followed by border molding so that your denture stays in place. A final impression will be taken using the same special tray, and wax rims with acrylic plates will be placed to set the alignment of your future teeth.
Your initial comfort is our priority, and we will guide you through the expected adjustment period. It is normal to experience temporary soreness, increased saliva, and slight changes in speech. We recommend starting with soft foods cut into small pieces and chewing slowly on both sides to help stabilize the denture. We have scheduled necessary follow-up appointments to check for any sore spots and make precise adjustments as your mouth adapts to your new smile.

FAQ
Your Guide to Comfortable and Custom Dentures
We offer several types of dentures tailored to patient needs. These include Complete Dentures (for replacing all teeth in an arch), Partial Dentures (for replacing a few missing teeth), and Implant-Supported Dentures. Implant-supported options offer superior stability, ensuring the denture stays firmly in place without slipping.
It typically takes a period of adjustment to feel comfortable with new dentures. Initially, you may experience increased saliva flow, mild soreness, or difficulty speaking. With consistent wear and practice, most patients adapt within a few weeks. We recommend reading aloud and starting with soft foods to accelerate the adjustment period.
While modern dentures allow you to eat most foods, you should still exercise caution. We advise starting with soft, easily chewable foods and gradually introducing firmer items. It is best to avoid extremely hard, sticky, or tough foods (like caramel or chewing gum) and to cut food into small pieces and chew on both sides of your mouth simultaneously to maintain stability.
No, it is generally recommended that you remove your dentures for at least 6 to 8 hours every night. Removing them allows your gum tissues to rest and recover from the pressure, which is essential for maintaining the health of your gums and the integrity of the jawbone. Dentures should be kept in a cleaning solution or water when not being worn.
The process usually involves several appointments. First, we take precise impressions of your jaw and gums. Next, a trial denture or wax model is created to check the fit, bite, and aesthetics. Once all adjustments are approved by you, the final denture is fabricated by the lab and delivered at the final seating appointment.
